Amal Jyoti School is founded in 1999 as per Article 30 (1) of the constitution of India. It is owned and managed by the sisters of Nirmal Jyoti Province of the congregation of the Mother of Carmel [CMC]. It is registered under Nirmal Jyoti society, Bina. (Reg. No. 23975 dated 20-12-1989).

The school is totally private and unaided. It does not receive any grant in aid from any government. The school has been recognized by the M.P. Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal, Code No. 742041. The medium of instruction is English ,and Hindi is taught as compulsory subject
